Balogun warns against shifting ground with NNL resumption still in limbo

Shooting stars sports club General manager Rasheed Balogun has warned the operators of the Nigeria National League against coming up with a different program that will require teams going for playoffs.

Balogun speaking in a chat with brila.net said the league would have created a problem too much for them to bite as he would see to the letter that the initially agreed arrangement to have teams topping their respective groups gain promotion stays as he wouldn’t want to be a victim of any middle ground shift while Shooting g stars top one of the four groups of the NNL.
“I’m not even sure we are going to play the league again, I’m not sure the league will commence again. It will take the blessing of God to make the league come back.
“It is as bad as that buto r thing I will say is that nobody will ask me to go and play Super 8 playoff that I will go because it was agreed before the start of the league last year that every club that top their group should be promoted.”
