Charity Reuben hopes to play at 2020 FIFA U-20 world cup

Kazakhstan women’s league side, BIIk Kazygurt forward, Charity Reuben has expressed her optimism that she will make the Falconets team for the forthcoming 2020 u-20 world cup due to her performance in the 19/20 UEFA women’s champions league.

In a chat with brila.net, the former Bayelsa Queens player said the international exposure she has set her apart “The European league is different from the Nigeria women’s professional league, my technique and football have improved, my experience cannot be overlooked.”

 

Charity who featured at the 2016 FIFA U-20 women’s world cup also has plans to play in the Super Falcons “I have a strong belief that I’ll play at the u-20 world cup which will give me a better chance to make the super Falcons because I will show to the world that I’m a good player.

 

However she expressed reservation with the welfare and the level of competition in the Kazakhstan league and the treatment of players, but prefers the conditions in her current club to the Nigeria league ” I don’t have any regrets leaving the Nigerian league, I left the NWFL because they don’t value the women’s game, they focus on men, this place is better but my plan is to get a better and bigger team in Europe.”

 

BIIk Kazygur were crowned champions, winning their 13th League trophy and crashed out in the UEFA women’s champions league round of 16 losing to Bayern Munich women.
