Coach Emmanuel Amunike to axe six Simba FC players from Tanzanian squad

Coach of the Tanzania National team, Emmanuel Aminuke has indicated intentions to drop up to six players of Champions Simba Fc from the National team.

Amunike in a chat with brila.net’s Yinka Oyedele, the former Super Eagles winger said his selection isn’t to witch hunt any team but to the overall good of the National team.

This is Amunike’s first major decision as the Manager of the Tanzanian team, and the decision has been met with a lot of mixed reactions but the Coach seems to have made up his mind.

He also added that all top performing players would also have the opportunity to still get future invitation to the national team.

Amunike was a former Under-17 World Cup winning coach of the Nigeria Golden Eaglets and has also managed teams in Sudan before becoming the Coach of the tafia stars.

The Amunike-led Tanzanian team will play away at Uganda in the 2019 AFCON qualifier on 8th September.
