Many National Youth Corps Members and staff of Independent National Electoral Commissioner on election duty were injured Sunday morning when political thugs stormed INEC office in Ijebu Ijesha , Ori Ade Local Government Area of Osun state .
The thugs who stormed the premises ,armed with guns and other dangerous weapons beat up NYSC members and INEC staff .
The hoodlums set ablaze the generating sets ,large quantity of Ballot papers and other electoral materials
A Police source said the injured NYSC members and INEC staff have been rushed to the hospital and were recuperating .
The senior police officer said the Force has declared manhunt for the thugs .
He said the situation has been under control by the police and other sister agencies .
The officer who described the situation as embarrassing ,said the police would deal decisively with those responsible for the attack.
