Cristiano Ronaldo signed a mind-boggling €100 million deal to transfer to Juventus, so it’s fair to say he’s not strapped for cash.
The 33-year-old reportedly left staff at a Greek hotel a £17,850 [over ₦846k] tip after staying there with his family and friends.
Ronaldo stayed at the Costa Navarino resort in the western Peloponnese after Portugal were knocked out of the World Cup, taking his family and friends to stay in its Royal Methoni villa for ten days.
However, Ronaldo wanted some extra assistance from the hotel staff to keep photographers at bay – and when they did a top job, he gave them a rather large tip when he departed the resort.
