Kogi united striker Tale casts doubt over NNL resumption

Kogi United striker Victor Tale has cast doubt over the possibility of the Nigeria National League returning after the COVID-19 break despite the resolution of the NFF meeting with the Sports minister that football leagues will be concluded at all levels.

Tale speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the best decision would have been to end the league and start planning for the next season after the inability of the NNL to restart having gone on a long break even before the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
“We know this has been a loss to us because due to this Covid-19 now that is on ground right now, we don’t know when they are going to solve the issue and this thing is coming up every day.
So automatically what is really happening now I don’t think the NNL whether they will be able to continue that league. I think what is best is for them to say there is no relegation, there is no champion.”
