Super Falcons coach Thomas Dennerby is demanding improvement from the home-based stars in the team as training begins today in preparation for the WAFU women championship in Abidjan Cote d’Ivoire.
Dennerby made this known in a chat with www.brila.net that he really wants the domestic players to be in good form before the world cup camp will be open in May.
“The target for the WAFU cup is to secure the form of the domestic players before the final camp in Austria in May, but we will try to win every game in the WAFU tournament.
“The results to me is not the most important thing, the important thing here is for the domestic players get good games before the pre-camp “. Dennerby said.
26 home-based players are already in camp in Abuja ahead of the WAFU competition holding in Cote D’Ivoire which from 7th of May 2019.
