Don’t let me die, Osuji Source Magazine crime reporter, Osuji ,seeks lifeline, foreign treatment

Crime correspondent with the Source Magazine, Mr. Chibuike Osuji who is at the verge of death at the Funto Private Hospital, Ijesha Road, Itire, Lagos has appealed to public-spirited Nigerians, philanthropists and Non Governmental Organizations (NGO’s) for financial assistance to enable him get quality Medicare abroad.

Osuji who has so far spent millions of naira through borrowing and support from crime reporters, friends and family members since he was admitted in the hospital can no longer walk on his own. The senior journalist now moves with clutches.

What started as mere malaria and typhoid fever when he was diagnosed in the hospital showed a case of Ulcer, which was dripping blood inside his system leading to darkening of his Faeces. Moreso, his blood level had dropped to twelve percent.

He was thereafter treated and everything became normal and he was discharged while his blood level also rose to over 30 percent but about three weeks after being discharged, he returned back to the hospital after he fell down and hit his head on the floor.

He sustained an injury leading to loss of blood and was rushed back to the hospital.

Doctors said his blood level has dropped to 14 percent and from there, another round of treatment started, which forced the hospital to conduct a comprehensive test on him.

After the scan, he was given a referral letter to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), for a PSA scan among others to ascertain the real cause of his problem.

Meanwhile, Osuji who has exhausted his money and all avenues to raise funds closed is now trapped as he is now being held by the hospital due to his inability to pay for his already accumulated bills.

Osuji is appealing for your help, he needs money to undergo more test and to settle the already accumulated ones in the hospital and possibly seek medical help abroad.
