Technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation Bitrus Bewerang has stated that the Nigeria men senior national team will not grow complacent ahead of the team’s participation at the fast approaching 2019 Africa cup of nations in Egypt.
Bewerang speaking in a chat with www.brila.net ahead of next week’s commencement of camping for the AFCON in Asaba said the team knows they can’t even afford to grow complacent not when they are just returning to the Africa cup of nations after having been absent for the last two editions of the competition.
“For them to lose out of two CAF competitions, this is a very good opportunity for them to showcase their talents for qualification so I have no doubts there will be no complacency from the team at the tournament.”
