Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will go into tomorrow’s Group A final game at the on-going African U-20 Nations Cup with the knowledge that a victory over Niger Republic will take them to the semifinals of the competition.
The Flying Eagles also know that their opponents are desperate for the win that will take them closer to the next round and will therefore come all out for that victory.
According to acting chairman of the Delta State Football Association and member of the Tunisia ’94 Super Eagles winning team, Edema Fuludu, the coach Paul Aigbogun led team will record victory tomorrow against their opponents.
The ex international added in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comthat he remains optimistic of a win in their next fixture.
“Our team is not a bad team, that’s my belief. I was thinking they would even beat South Africa, but you will agree with me that they were a tough side who defended very well”.
“I am very sure that with another 3 points coming our way, we will qualify, he concluded.”
A win for the Flying Eagles tomorrow will secure a semi final spot in Niger, as the target the qualification of the world cup to be staged in Poland.
