Enyimba hopes to consolidate on opening day win ahead tonight’s clash against Pillars

Coach of NPFL side Enyimba FC Usman Abdallah has stated that the Peoples Elephant are not thinking too far ahead of themselves but want to consolidate on the opening day victory against Enugu Rangers when they take on Kano Pillars ahead of tonight’s match day two clash at the ongoing NPFL Super six tournament in Lagos.

Abdallah speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team have its target and work layout plotted which is to first get enough points within the earliest possible matches to be sure of continental after which they give it the final push to contend for the league title.
“Actually for the moment we have already set our target, we just have to keep focus and concentrate because it’s too early to start thinking what we happen if result goes one way or the other.
“So we will try and get two more wins within the next three matches to gather at least 9 points in four games then we will know the continental ticket is secured before going to challenge for the league title.”
Enyimba will face Kano Pillars in today’s final fixture of three matchday two fixtures.
