Enyimba forward Abdulrahman Bashir has stated that it was painful for the People’s Elephant to have missed out on the chance to go top after been held to a scoreless draw at home to Bendel Insurance coupled with MFM’s loss in Ilorin against Kwara united.
Abdulrahman speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the game against Insurance was so frustrating for his side and were so unfortunate not to have beaten the visiting side.
He also added that they are not bothered by what others are playing but simply focussed on winning their own games.
“We tried our own best to win the match, I don’t know it just didn’t happen. We just have to take it like that and focus on winning our own game.”
