Ex Eagles star charges AFCON-bound Eagles players on hardwork

Former Super Eagles forward Raphael Chukwu Ndukwe has charged the members of the Super Eagles who made the final 23 to the Africa cup of nations in Egypt not to at any point relax having made the list but to continue to work hard to be considered good enough to play every match.

Chukwu Ndukwe speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comaftermath of the final 23 said merely making the squad to the AFCON wouldn’t be good enough as players still have the onus to continue to give the coach a reason to be considered for matches at the tournament proper.

“Look at the list and you will see that many of those players are playing regularly for their clubs. And I know our coach doesn’t really look at your name but to prove that you can play.

It’s not just going to the nations cup but to prove you are good enough. So everybody needs to work hard to play.”
