Former Super Eagles player Friday Ekpo has urged Nigerians to be modest on their expectation from the senior National team of Nigeria as regards the team’s ability to make a triumphant return to Africa’s biggest soccer showpiece in Egypt this summer.
Ekpo said in a chat with www.brila.net said Nigerians should, as a matter of fact, be guided on taking things step by step with the Super Eagles before thinking of winning the AFCON.
He added that the quality of players in the team should also be set at a standard where the team accommodates only regular players and urge the coach Gernot Rohr to try out as many options are available to him before the nations cup.
