Gernot Rohr will Today announce a 24-man squad for next month’s AFCON qualifier against Seychelles, and several new faces are expected to be named according to the team’s media Officer, Toyin Ibitoye.
“The Coach will name 24 players and a few on stand by. Expectedly, some of those at the World Cup will return, Ibitoye said on Brila FM’s Morning News Show Sports Machine.
“Rohr will name the strongest squad possible as this is a must win for Nigeria. We are currently third on the table, We hope to qualify and do the nation proud at the AFCON.”
Victor Moses, skipper Mikel Obi as well as injured Tyronne Ebuehi and Shehu Abdullahi will miss the match.
