Eze’s assist not enough to save QPR from defeat

Nigerian born Ebere Eze was in action for Queens Park Rangers in their Monday’s English championship clash with Brentford at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Eze was making his 14th Championship appearance of the season and recorded an assist which wasn’t enough to save the team from 3-1 defeat.

Brentford took the lead Ollie Watkins in the 23r minutes before Eze set up Grant Hall to equalise for QPR three minutes after the break.

Said Benrahma restored the visitors lead from the penalty spot in the 60th minutes, before Ollie Watkins completed his brace to sealed the three points.

Meanwhile Nigerian-born winger Bright Osayi-Samuel also played for 90 minutes for QPR who remain in eighth position on the table.
