Falconets head Coach Chris Danjuma has assured Nigerians that his ladies will not have to wait until the last minute to win their quarterfinals match against Spain on Thursday.
Speaking with brila.net’s Pius Idoko shortly after the Rasheedat Ajibade‘s last minute equalizer against China on Monday, Coach Danjuma said he would work on the players to ensure they get the job done earlier next time so they don’t have to wait on luck again.
Meanwhile, the veteran tactician expressed his delight after seeing his young side advance into the quarterfinals of the U20 Women’s World Cup going on in France.
Danjuma described the Falconets last minute progression brought about some overwhelming feeling which booked Nigeria’s quarter-final berth after the team appeared initially to be heading for the exit.
The Falconets will now take on their Spanish counterparts in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
