Falcons coach Dennerby promise to improve team’s pressing and attacking game

Coach of Nigeria’s women national team Thomas Dennerby has promised to improve the team’s pressing and attacking game following the below par 1-0 win over Algeria in the Tokyo 2020 football event qualifier.

Dennerby speaking in a chat with brila.net after the game admitted that the Super Falcons were not good enough and should have done better with their passing and coordination which was not up to par in the game.
He, however, promised to work on this area in the team’s next outing.
“First of all the result of this game I think we defended very well but our pressing game and our attacking game was not good enough.
“Bad timing and running, slow runnings, too many touches on the ball, so we need to improve the team a lot in the attacking game next game.”
