Nigeria’s Minister of youths and sports Sunday Dare has stated that as part of his cardinal tangible objective is to ensure the renovation and functionality of the national stadium Abuja, The Ahmadu Bello stadium in Kaduna, Obafemi Awolowo stadium Ibadan and The national stadium Lagos.
Dare speaking in a chat gathered by brila.net said the plan is to ensure that these stadiums get back to live and contribute in tangible ways to thinks tat can be referred to as work done to revive moribund sports infrastructures.
He said this will be done by coming up with a business model around these initiatives with the private sector to make up for funds where there is limited sources from the Government.
“One of the cardinal focus with be to bring back our stada particularly Abuja, Ahmadu Bello stadium Kaduna, Obafemi Awolowo Stadium Ibadan a d the national stadium Lagos.
“We are going to look at how we can develop a business model around it. We look at concession or public private partnership.”
