On Tuesday it’s win or bust for MFM Queens BC when they battle Sporting in the final group game at the FIBA Africa Women’s Champions Cup.
The Queens are a win away from booking a spot in the next round of the championship but face a herculean task against the Egyptian side, with both teams tied on points in the table.
A win over Energie BC and the defeat to Inter Clube leaves Aderemi Adewunmi’s side needing a win to keep their campaign on track and the team needed to let out some steam and keep a level head before Tuesday’s crunch game.
The team went on a sight seeing trip to the Pyramids of Giza for team on Monday and Guard Ifunanya Okoro seemed to have the most fun.
Ifunanya has been effective as well on the floor averaging 9 pts per game and if the Pyramid trip helps sharpen her focus, she could deliver for the Nigerian side.
