Constant Omari, president of FECOFA, has opened talks with the former Bordeaux manager.

At the moment, Rohr’s future as Nigeria’s coach is facing uncertainties after Nigeria could only claim bronze at last month’s Africa Cup of Nations, with the German contract running until 2020.

The Franco-German was appointed Super Eagles manager in 2016, after coaching the trio of Gabon, Niger and Burkina Faso.

Nigeria booked a spot for the 2018 World Cup and 2019 AFCON in Egypt with a game left under Rohr’s guidance.

The 66-year-old also coached Bordeaux, OGC Nice and Nantes to mention but a few.

Recall that the Super Eagles manager had said he was waiting on family members to decide his future with Nigeria senior national team.

The Franco-German tactician insists family reasons will play a key role in deciding if he will stay or leave, after guiding Nigeria to a bronze medal at just concluded 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
