Kebbi State Governor,Dr. Nasir Idris has donated N50m to traders whose shops were gutted by fire in Jega Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The governor also donated N10m to the family of one Musibau, who lost his life alongside his wife and a three months old baby as result of fire outbreak in Jega.
Chief Press Secretary to Kebbi State Governor,Ahmed Idris, confirmed this in a statement made available to newsmen, saying:”Governor Idris made the donation on Thursday when he paid a condolence visit to the family residence of the deceased as well as the scene of market inferno.
“N50m is for those whose shops were burnt down on 16th January 2024, while N10m is for the family that lost thier lives. At this juncture, I want to pray to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased their shortcomings and grant them Jannatul Firdaus,” he prayed.
