I want to make history with Nasarawa United – Oyedeji

Nasarawa United midfielder Aderiola Samuel Oyedeji has disclosed that he’s not interested in following Coach Kabir Dogo out of the door, but wants to make history with the club.

Dogo left Nasarawa United earlier this month following the expiration of his contract , having spend five seasons with the Club. However, reports has it that he want a deal with another NPFL before launching an onslaught against his former side by the his trusted players to join him.

 

Oyedeji, who joined the Solid Miners last season from Nigeria National League side ABS FC last season is one of the players linked with his former boss, rumor the former Pepsi football academy graduate denied.

 

“I want to work hard and make an history in Nasarawa United and in NPFL, our aim is to qualify our darling club for the continent.

“No, I’m not following Coach Kabir Dogo out of the club for now, I moved to the Club last season , there were four to five clubs after me but I chose Nasarawa United for a reason and considering how the league ended, there’s still a lot to give to the fans”. He told Brila.net

 

The 26 year old heaped praises on his former coach saying he’s more than a manager to the team.

 

“He is not only a coach but a father,He is gentle and always try his best to make every player happy , even when they are not playing”

“He believe in promoting the unknown names to become known, the people will surely miss him.

 

Oyedeji concluded that , just like every local based players, he would like to play in Europe at a point in his career.

 

” I want to play in Europe , not just ordinary leagues but one of the best leagues, I believe I have the talent and I believe there is no loss in hard work, with it I can reach my goal”.
