Vice President of the Africa Table Tennis Federation Waheed Oshodi has stated that international Federations will also be meeting later in the month to decide on dates and process for sports and events that are yet to be qualified for in the Tokyo 2021 Olympics after International Olympic Committee released an official date for the Tokyo 2021 Olympic games.
Oshodi speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid there is still a lot of time to fix qualifiers after the postponement of the Olympic games and that once meeting is done via online media on what process would be used and dates fixed, the qualifiers can be decided for the games.
“The international Federations still have to meet to decide that so that they can streamline their events but the problem is they can’t meet right now so maybe later this month we will meet via online media and then we decide those dates.
“The first thing is to decide things with respects to people who haven’t qualify what will be the situation. So they will just find a sort of way to determine qualification for those who haven’t qualify.”
