Ishaku retains high hope for Nigeria Table Tennis post Covid-19

President of the NTTF Engr. Tikon Ishaku has maintained that he has high hopes on Nigeria Table Tennis despite the obvious impact of the Corona virus pandemic on Nigerian Table Tennis just like other sports and different areas of human endeavours were affected. 
Ishaku speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the the Covid-19 pandemic has taken it toll on Nigerian Table Tennis especially after the postponement of the ITTF Nigeria Open initially slated for August 2020 but affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
He thereafter enthused that he is sure Table Tennis will thrive post Covid-19 in Nigeria.

 

“The pandemic has caused a lot of havoc in so many areas but the hope is still there, we have hope that table tennis will continue the way we have been going on before even though it will change the acceleration, a lot of things will change at the end of it but the most important thing is that one have to live, you have to be alive to look forward to tomorrow.”
