Kada City’s win over Plateau United was no fluke, Says Shola Collins

Kada City reliable defender Shola Collins says his side victory over title 2017 Nigeria Professional Football League Champions Plateau United was not a fluke and maintains his side was the better team on the day.

The Kaduna based team pulled the one of the biggest result of the season as they defeated highly rated Plateau United 1-0 at the new Jos Township Stadium in one of the matchday ten of the Nigeria Professional Football League fixture on Wednesday.

While speaking to www.brila.net on the remarkable victory, Shola Collins who’s the younger brother of Super Eagles left back Jamilu Collins said his side might have won the game but it was a difficult match.

The match was a very difficult for us but we stick to our game plan and at the end we thank God for the victory.

I can’t explain the feelings, but it’s mean a lot to us ,We were united as team , we love and sacrifice for each other , I think that’s what led us to the victory over Plateau United”. He told brila.net

However, Collins dismissed the claims that the victory was a fluke, while insisting the Usman Adams side deserved the victory.

I believe those people who are saying the victory was a fluke didn’tsee the match , We had chances more than Plateau United in thegame and we should have scored more but we are satisfied with the three points “. He concluded.
