Katsina United Boss Abdullahi Biffo is performing a U-turn already on his team’s chances in the current NPFL season stating that now his side can dare to dream more than the initial target of finishing 6th on the league table.
Biffo speaking on a telephone call with www.brila.net said his team has got ambition and that now that they have been 4th on the league table within the last three match windows, he sees nothing wrong in his side thinking of a possible league contention and possibly winning it having impressed so far.
“What we set for ourselves, in the beginning, is at least to make sure to be among the top 6 on the log.
“And where we found ourselves now we have to look at our performance and see if we can set another target for ourselves because we want to be one of the best in the country.
“Who says we cannot even win the league.”
Katsina United missed the opportunity to enter third spot yesterday after a 1-1 draw at home to Rangers but tie the Flying Antelopes on point to sit 4th on the group A table although having played 4 games more than Rangers.
