Plateau United coach Abdul Maikaba is not still satisfied by the defensive play of his team despite spanking Akwa United 3 goals to nil on Sunday in the NPFL.
Maikaba in a chat with brila.net says, there are some problems he needs to solve in the defense, according to him he needs to recruit at least one good central defenders in the team.
”I need one good central defender with pace, my central defense are all similar in sizes which is difficult for me, I tried getting one but the club refuse clearance”. He said.
Maikaba said he cannot imagine a player weigh in 90 and even over 90kg.
It is difficult talking about pace, you will not have it if you talk of quick reaction you will not have it from them so it is difficult for me” Maikaba concluded.
