Enyimba striker Victor Mbaoma has stated that all is still very much open for the People’s Elephants despite playing out a 1-1 draw at home to Guinean Ligue 1 side Horoya AC in the first leg of the CAF Confederation cup quarter final at the Enyimba stadium in Aba.
Mbaoma speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the team is still pleased that the didn’t lose the game and that they can still go away to get a good result against Horoya despite the home draw. He however added that they will have to work on grey areas in the team before the second leg.
“It’s a good thing for us that we didn’t lose, we have seen ourselves. We have seen them and they have seen us, so we will work on our lapses and we will get it right there, it’s very possible though we lost some chances and they had just one and they took it and that was the end.”
