Sports Minister Bar. Solomon Dalung has hailed the achievements of Sportswomen in the country over the last three and the half years he had spent in the office, saying the women are worthy of the investment imposed on them in all ramifications.
Dalung made this known to www.brila.net during the NBBF organized General meeting in Abuja over the weekend.
The Minister said the women in the sporting industry were the ones who are worthy of every investment the government has placed in sports over the past three years of his tenure as a minister.
“Let me thank the women for their achievements over the three and the half years of my stewardship, the women in sports has done better than men, is it in Basketball, football, wrestling and track and field?
“Our women are doing great”, On the contrary, the minister turned to the men in sports saying to them, the achievements on men so far is crises driven.
“For the men all achievements on them is crises driven, and I think is because of our alpha ego”.
The minister concluded by saying he was just gossiping to the men that the women are moving slowly but are making bigger achievements.
“I tell you to invest small in female sports you will invest plenty but invest bigger in men sports what you get in return is crises” Dalung concluded.
