New AS Monaco Boss Robert Moreno will have the last say on the reported January transfer move of Henry Onyekuru away from the club.
Moreno was announced as Manager of the Ligue Un side after the sacking of Leonardo Jardim on Saturday.
Jardim had been reappointed only 14 months previously following the sacking of his successor Thierry Henry.
Under the Portuguese, Onyekuru had very limited game time and has been demoted to the junior team in the past month.
It is understood that Onyekuru will fancy a move away from the French club, back to Turkey and Galatsaray SK where he enjoyed a stellar season last term.
But the appointment of Moreno, 42, changes the complexion of things and the Spaniard will now decide which players stay or leave as the club battles to climb further up the table.
The League is currently on break and will resume after the turn of the year, but until then no official statement has yet been issued on whether the Nigerian winger was on the transfer list.
