Nasarawa United coach Nkiyu downplays top three desperation

Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Nasarawa united Bala Nkiyu has downplayed been desperate to lead his side to a top three finish at the end of the season insisting that hard work is what they will continue to employ to achieve the task of ending up among the top three teams.

Nkiyu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said his team desire to finish well and this can only happen with a lot of consistency in a good performance so as to ensure they get themselves there among the best as against the desperate act to pick result at all cost.
“We had a good day winning 5-0 against Elkanemi because there are some days when you don’t have a good day and you will know.
There is nobody that will say he is desperate for now, you can only be trying your best to see that you’re among the three because no matter how desperate you are you can’t force yourself in there.”
Nasarawa United sits 4th on the league table and are just two points away from the highly coveted third spot.
