Coach of NPFL side Nasarawa united Bala Nkiyu has stated that the NPFL is now at the season-defining moment when calculation will now be the order of the day across all the topflight sides in the league.
Nkiyu speaking on the current league season in a chat with www.brila.net said this is the stage when teams begin to analyze their fixture and know which games they can’t afford to toy which one they can manage to draw or which one or two games they won’t really feel bad losing.
“Definitely every coach will by now be calculating some matches. How do I play this how do I play that and as the games are coming you have to approach these games the way you think is favourable to you.
“The good thing is that we have younger players that are willing to play so that is the encouraging part of it.”
He said thereafter that he banks on the youthful and enthusiasm of his players to navigate safely through this period in order to achieve their objectives of a top three finish.
