The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) will today, 13th April 2019 hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The President of NBBF Engr. Musa Kida upon his arrival in Abuja disclosed to Cornerstonenewsng.comthat the programmes for the year will be extensively discussed.
“We will discuss programmes for this year. We have very huge milestones for us this year which are the world cup, the domestic league division 1 and 2.
As for women basketball, we would discuss the Zenith Basketball League because it will for the first time going to be expanded so that we can play more games this year.”
The AGM which will have in attendance two representatives from the 36 state basketball associations and the Federal Capital Territory, representatives of referees, coaches, technical commissioners, and the paramilitary.
The AGM will hold at the National Institute of Sports in Abuja, the annual Stakeholders Forum will also hold at the same venue.
The traditional stakeholders’ forum is in preparation for the commencement of the 2019 basketball season.
