The Nationwide League One Secretariat received official report of the aborted match between the above mentioned football club scheduled to have taken place on the 30th May 2022.
The Nationwide League One Secretariat also got a report of walk-over done by the match officials, but considering the relevant article in the rules and regulations (4.08(2). Any match that commences 30 minutes later than the scheduled kick-off time shall be deemed a “No Match” and the club responsible for the kick- off shall forfeit the match by 3 point 3 goals unless there is a force majeure acceptable to the NLO)
Sequel to above, the NLO Secretariat hereby wish to acknowledge a forced Majeure of miss information which led to the Maichibi team not playing the match, because it was glaring that the team was on ground to play their match having arrived at the venue 3 days before the match and even attended the pre-match meeting.
In view of the foregoing, and due to the importance attached to it, the match shall be played on Wednesday June 1, at the same venue, by 3:00 pm, while all the match officials shall be invited from a neutral state.
The NLO regrets any inconveniences this ugly situation might have caused the two teams and the NLO shall foot the bill of the match.
