NNL: How Kano State Govt. bailed Giodano FC out

Nigeria National League side, FC Giodano will resume training on Friday after the Kano State government gave assurances to the club management to look into issues bothering the team after an earlier decision to withdraw from the league.

Speaking with brila.net, media officer of the team, Jegus, noted that there was a meeting between the representatives of the Kano State government and the management team of Giodano FC and the government promised to find solutions to whatever problems they had and called on the players to resume training.
“Yes the state government here in Kano asked us to return to training and we will resume on Friday. The government heard our complaints and we received assurance.
We will be resuming training on Friday and we have officially written the NNL.”, he stated.
Giodano FC chairman, Jamilu Wada Aliyu had on the 21st of April sent a letter to the NNL notifying the body of their withdrawal from the league.
