The NPFL La liga U-15 Promise Tournament is set to kickoff today, at the goal project, package ‘B’ area of the Abuja National Stadium.
The semi-final matches are as follows:
Kwara United vs Delta Force
Katsina United vs Sunshine Stars
LMC Chairman Shehu Dikko in a chat with brila.net said “under the revelations of the NFF all clubs are supposed to have a youth team”.
“This is part of developmentals programs and everyone knows the benefits, and all over the world that’s how football is structured.
When we started this tournament two years ago La Liga were excited to jump in which came about the Laliga promises “.
Speaking further, Dikko stated that they have managed to get all clubs to be part of this program, which eventually all clubs today in the NPFL has players that have participated in the NPFL U15 program right from 2016 till date.
This includes the current National U15 team and the Golden Eaglets presently in Tanzania.
