The last time both sides met was at the group stage of the Aiteo cup, at the Dipo Dina international stadium, Ijebu Ode on the 24th of September 2018 which result stood at 1-1.

Sunshine Queens are expected to put up a good fight as they seek to break the jinx of ending a season without a league shield while Bayelsa queen’s target is to end the team’s trophy drought.

A win for either side gives a final clash with the winner between Amazons of Lafia who are defending champions and Aiteo Cup winners Rivers Angels.
