Ogoh says D’Tigers hope to make the most of classification games for Olympic ticket

Assistant coach of Nigeria’s men basketball national team D’Tigers Odaudu Ogoh has stated that the Nigeria basketball team will be going all out as they begin their classification tie today against CIV to stay stay very on course to finish as the highest rank African team which would help secure a ticket to the 2020 Olympics.

Ogoh speaking in a chat with brila.net said the Nigerian side could have done better than this and on course for the tournament proper, he however called on Nigerians to keep faith with the team as they bid to seal the Olympics basketball event ticket.
“We will go all out and then continue to get better to get a spot at the Olympics which is our target for now.
Though all in all, I think we could have done better but we are still happy with ourselves and looking forward to the future.”
