Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare finished sixth in the women’s 200m race at the Zurich Diamond League on Thursday.

The Delta State-born athlete finished in the time of 22.62 to place sixth in the race that saw Shauane Miler Uibo shattered the Diamond League Record with a  21.74 returning time.

Okagbare has been at the loggerheads with the Athletic Federation of Nigeria over training grant prior to the commencement of 12th African games in Rabat Morocco.

However, the 30-year-old Athlete had a game to forget in Morocco, as she was disqualified from the women’s 100m final due to a false start.

She also pulled out of the 200m race and 4×100 relay team that would gold medal at the game but returned to the track in Zurich on Thursday.
