Okereke, Emmanuel get their Europa League campaign underway Against Man United

Nigerian players who will vie for honors in the knockout round of the Europa League found out their round of 32 opponents on Monday.

The draws which held in Nyon Switzerland followed the UEFA Champions League draws held earlier on the same day.

A few Nigerians, who will be in action in Europe’s second tier competition, were eliminated from the UCL.

 

The likes of Club Brugge will continue their European adventure with a R32 tie against Manchester United.

 

Dennis Emmanuel and David Okereke who were part of the team’s UCL campaign will fancy their chances against the 2017 Champions.

 

Yusuf Otubanjo is yet to feature for LASK Linz in the Europa League this season, but his side will face Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.

 

For Rangers FC and Joe Aribo, the task is to navigate past Portuguese side Sporting Braga.

 

Azubuike Okechukwu’s hunt for honors in Europe will be tested when İstanbul Başakşehir F.K. battles Sporting CP.
