Okereke Scores sixth goal of the season for Club Brugge

Nigerian striker David Okereke was on target for Club Brugge in their 2-0 away win over  SV Zulte Waregem in the Belgian Jupiler League on Wednesday night.

Okereke, continued his good form in front of the goalkeepers and has netted two goals in two games, including his equalizer against Standard Liege last weekend.

David Okereke shot the Phillipe Clement’s side ahead when he ran into the box and riffled home Ruud Vormer’s pass after 23 minutes.

Okereke was later replaced in the second but his replacement Mbaye Diagne, scored in the second minute of injury time to earn all three points for the Blue and Blacks.

The 22-year-old Okereke has scored six goals in eleven games so far this term.

Okereke was missing in Gernot Rohr’s list for November’s African Cup of Nations qualifiers with Squirrels of Benin Republic and Lesotho.
