Okpara charges Eagles to raise game against Tunisia

Former Super Eagles player Godwin Okpara has charged players of Nigeria’s senior national team to raise their game and forget about the unfortunate semi-final defeat to Algeria ahead of today’s Third place match against Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles.

Okpara speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the Third place match is a small final that will decide who goes empty-handed or ends with a medal of the last four teams.
He added that the players should enjoy themselves and banish memories of the semi-final loss to Algeria in order to be able to play without any form of baggage from their last game.
“They just need to go into the match against Tunisia and do what they love to do. If they can step up a little bit, they will be victorious. They should forget what happened, we lost again Algeria and that has happened.
And this is a challenge to get the third place, they should just go there and do what they love and they shouldn’t think about the Algeria game going to this tie.”
