Okpotu happy with life in Tunisian league

Anthony Okpotu says he’s excited to be back to his best following his previous struggle with injuries.

The former Lobi stars forward has scored eight goals to help his Club US Monastir to the top of the Tunisian league this season.

Speaking on his debut season in the Tunisian league, the experience forward hailed his coach for how he helped him settled quickly into the team.

“Our coach came with a different mentality, glory be to God the whole team agreed with his mentality and philosophy, the rest is gradually turning to history.”

Okpotu is also happy that his hard work is finally paying off, after he recovered from a career threatened injury.

“I can say it is due to hard work, daily self reminder that I lost last year (2018 season) due to injury and that I need to make up for that.” He concluded.
