Olawoyin calls for calm as LMC hopes to rescheduled league return

Rangers international of Enugu player Ibrahim Olawoyin has called for calmness as the League Management Company looks to rescheduled the Nigeria professional football league.

The 2019/2020 campaign was suspended indefinitely by the league organizers after match day 25 in order to curb the widespread of the coronavirus which has also affected various leagues in Europe.

All NPFL club side had since granted their players a long break, but they are directed to continue with their individual training.

Olawoyin however believes the wait for the league to return will surely come to an end at some point, but everyone must continue to stay safe.

“I’m confident that very soon, we will all return to the pitch. I have been training and waiting for when the NPFL  will resume.”

But before then, please stay safe and God bless you” he said.
