Osimhen experience some dizziness, but he’s fine – Christopher Galtier

Lille manager Christophe Galtier has revealed that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen experienced some dizziness before he was taken to the hospital during Tuesday night Coupe de la Ligue win against AS Monaco at the Stade Louis II.

Osimhen scored his team’s opener in the 19th minute but was substituted four minutes later and rushed to the hospital moments later after complaining of chest pain.

His coach Galtier has now hinted that Osimhen has recovered well and will return to action sooner than expected.

“Victor Osimhen experienced dizziness and then pain. He was quickly rushed to the hospital. We just got news, everything is back to normal. We just talked to him, he’s fine,” Galtier told reporters after the game.

Osimhen has scored 12 goals across all competitions for Lille and he’s in race to be fit for Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash against Monaco.
