Plateau United accept salary cuts, vow to turn dismal season around

Following the club management’s decision to cut salaries should the poor league results continue, Plateau United midfielder Lengkat Issa says the players are holding no grievances and were truly “sober”.
Plateau United have won just one game in the last five league matches and recently lost at home to Kada City.
The defeat puts the 2017 league champions in the relegation battle and it promoted the Management to threaten slashing salaries; although it’s a violation of the player’s contracts.
Speaking to Cornerstonenewsng.comIssa maintains that the players know they need to quickly turn the corner and find a solution to their poor performances.
“We must respond in our next game, which is against Abia Warriors. Losing is not an option; we have to win or draw from here on.”
