Coach of Nigeria Premier basketball league champion Rivers Hoopers Ogoh Odaudu has stated that the Porthacourt based side are anxiously waiting for the outcome of the draws for the inaugural Basketball Africa league ahead of this weekend’s draws which is expected to be made at the NBA all star gathering this weekend in Chicago.
Odaudu speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the conduct of the draws and groupings of teams will help straighten where the focus will be and how to better prepare and monitor opponents that falls into same group with the team.
He added that his side have however commenced preparation lightly for the competition expected to start next month.
“We got a couple of tapes from the qualifiers that’s the teams that qualified, we are waiting for this weekend, by this weekend the groupings will be done and the schedule will be drawn. This weekend we should know who and who we are going to be facing because we are going to be split into two groups then we can further be particular on who we are going to be playing ahead.”
