Nigeria’s campaign at the African Beach Games 3×3 women’s event will be a redemption mission according to Head Coach Chris Acha.
The Nigerian team failed to make a podium spot at the 3×3 African championship last year in Lomé, but they are a stronger group now and fully prepared to play for gold in Cape Verde the coach told brila.net.
‘We’ve worked really hard and I think the girls are in good shape. And of course We’re going there no just to go participate, we want to go make a mark and come out with something really good this time around.’
Team Nigeria will face group opponents Namibia, Uganda and Tunisia from June 19 when the event gets under way.
