Super Eagles forward, Samuel Kalu registered his name on the score sheet in his first pre-season game for French side Girondins Bordeaux even though they lost 1-3 to Turkish champions Galatasaray on Sunday.
The Nigerian started on the bench but later came in to replace Frenchman Jimmy Briand in the 73rd minute of the game.
Kalu scored Bordeaux’s only goal of the encounter which was played at Tuvalu Stadion Tirol in Innsbruck just one minute after he was introduced into the game following a pass from Raoul Bellanova.
The goals for Galatasaray were scored by Ryan Babel, Atalay Babacan and Adem Buyuk.
Former Flying Eagles defender Valentine Ozornwafor featured for Galatasaray in the match.

Ozornwafor came in as a substitute for Babel in the 88th minute, making it his second pre-season appearance for the club.
